In this course, kids will combine their understanding of mechanics and electronics to learn how electromagnetism works, and how to build their own electronic robots (which they can bring home!). During this course, students will build electronic circuits with real motors and electronic components to design and build their own simple electronic robots that can make art, and be their very own pet robot. After this course, students will understand the basics of motors and how it keeps all our favourite robots and vehicles running. Topics covered during the course include the following: Science - electricity - magnetism - motors - circuits Art - Make digital art using robots - Design your own pet robot Tech - electronic robots - basic automation During term time, this 15-hour course is conducted over 10 lessons of 1.5 hours each.
