Programmes
Go deep into STEAM & coding with Techie Core courses, then go wide with Techie Collective workshops on digital art, electronic music and theatre.
But first... what is STEAM?
STEAM education gives kids the freedom to learn about Science, Tech, Engineering, Arts and Math in a multidisciplinary and explorative way. Learning becomes more fun when kids are able to draw meaningful connections between seemingly different concepts. Everything starts to make more sense when they can exercise their creativity in real-world scenarios! Learn more about our approach to STEAM education here.

Our Approach
Learning should be fun, challenging and meaningful. That’s why STEAM is the core focus of a Techie Tykes education. All our courses approach learning with a focus on drawing connections between disciplines, having fun through discovery, and developing your child’s multiple intelligences. We achieve that through the following learning principles:
Observation
& Inquiry
We teach by asking questions so students develop critical thinking and self-directed learning. They make observations, recognise patterns, articulate their thoughts, ask questions, and find solutions.
Guided
Play
We use the most powerful driver of motivation - play. Students don’t realise they are learning when they play, but we are there to guide them towards finding meaning, purpose and insight.
Cross-disciplinary
Learning
We adopt a multi-disciplinary approach to foster lateral thinking. Students draw parallels, see contrasts and connect the dots between seemingly disparate elements and disciplines.
Differentiated Instruction
We understand that every child is on their own developmental journey. We meet them where they are at, and help them progress on their journey by ensuring a positive learning experience.
